Councilman Clark is director of Yellow Jacket Learning Center at Blue Ridge High School and is a town council member for Pinetop-Lakeside. A White Mountain resident since 1999, he is married and has two young children.

Working in the substance abuse field for 12 years, Mr Walsh specializes in treating adolescents and young adults. He is an adjunct faculty member at Rio Salado College in the Chemical Dependency Program, has appeared regularly on state television on addiction-related topics, including John Hooks “Newmaker Sunday” and the “Pat McMahon Show”; and published articles in valley media. Serving on the “Crystal Darkness, Arizona” steering committee, he chaired the Recovery/Response subcommittee and was interviewed on the project’s “Descent into Meth” segment.

With a bachelors in history and masters in secondary education fro State University of New York at Buffalo, he Mr Suedmeyer taught secondary social studies for nine years before becoming a business trainer and motivational speaker. For 20 years, he delivered more than 1,600 workshops and talks and self-published two books. In 2004, he returned to the classroom at Prescott Valley Charter School and formed an after school club, the Youth Chamber, to challenge students to volunteer in school and the community. Two years later, the club was incorporated into a Service Learning class for school credit. This group has won: President’s Volunteer Service Award (four times), Arizona Governor’s Volunteer Service Award (twice), America’s Promise Award (five times), Access 13’s Community Service Television Program of the Year (2007-08), and Learn and Serve’s Spirit of Service Award.
